Guest guest
We have used my husband's placard in many other states and foreign countries in our car and rental cars. No one has ever questioned us or given us a ticket. BTW Washington, DC law specifically allows out of state placards to be used. I think the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the US Constitution would require all states to permit their use. So, Jackie, I would fight any ticket and make a formal complaint to the issuing officer's commanding officer _http://dmv.washingtondc.gov/serv/plates/handicap.shtm_ (http://dmv.washingtondc.gov/serv/plates/handicap.shtm) Ellie Hood
Guest guest
I've used my Missouri placards in Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina. That's the great thing about placards - they're tied to you and not the car that you're traveling in. I've used them in my car, my husband's car, cars we've rented, and other family members' cars. You shouldn't have a problem. Happy Travels!!
