Thanks for the poem. I memorized the poem in 1959 and can still quote

it. The poem tells me that when things look dark and dreary, it is up

to me to let the light shine through. With CMT, I have many

depressive, dark, lonely days. Too often even family members and close

friends cannot understand what I am going through; therefore, I realize

that it is up to me to build up my self-esteem and bring joy into my

I have many dark days too.I guess what hurts me the most is family at times and

also people that are not understanding and rude. My school day still haunt

me,thinking back on the kids and also the teaches that were so un-accepting of

me.
