Guest guest
: I don't test positive for CMT, but my neurologist has always thought that I just have a type that has not been tagged yet. My extended family was in a study at Washington University in St. Louis, but I have lost contact and don't know the results. Anyway, my 23 year old son has all the signs of CMT, but he thinks it is really HNPP based on the research he has looked at and his symptoms - tingling hands, numbness in fingers for days on end, no reflex with the knee hit thing.... Maybe one of us should seek another opinion and be tested for HNPP. Is there a DNA test for it? Is it hereditary too? in AR
