Guest guest
Look in our Files for the NT-3 and Onapristone folders. tThere is also a File on Current Therapy for CMT from 2005. NT-3 was the first human trial to demonstrate success. Onapristone and other Progesterone antagonists haven't reached the human trials stage. Gene therapy to remove the CMT gene from one's genetic code is research for the future. You can do much for yourself with adequate rest and sleep, nutrition, perhaps a supplement like Vitamin E, perhaps physical therapy, perhaps occupational therapy, and of course exercise. Keep your weight low - being overweight can put too much stress on joints and make it harder for muscles to move. Mediate, pray, and learn to sit quietly to difuse stress, anger, fear, worry and other negative emotions. Keep focused on gratitude always, no matter how small. ~ Gretchen
