Guest guest
Hi Matt, How much E & C do you take? Thanks, Geri
Guest guest
Hi Geri, I take 3000 mg of C, time release twice a day. With breakfast and dinner. I also take 400 IU of Vit E twice a day, at the same time I take the Vit C. The Vit E also has helped by RLS in my calf muscles. I used to get muscle spasms really bad in my legs and sometimes all over my body. This has improved greatly with the Vit E. Matt

Guest guest
I have been taking " C " , but it is in a multi-supplement with some " B " , Folic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium, Silica,Magnolia and Green Tea. The " C " is only 180 mg. But that is 264% of my daily value. It has been just about a year since I started this. Taking 2 in the morning with 500 ml of water. After I eat a banana, I take 1000 IU of " E " . Then another 500 ml of water. The water is silica and magnesium enriched also. Have taken the " E " for about 10 years now. Great energy here. Enough for extra workouts, have also noticed I can do more at workouts; have built good stamnia and improved muscle tone. ~ Gretchen (PS since I have a type 2 CMT, I'm not so concerned about taking more " C " to benefit CMT, but the combo of all and the exercise has proven so beneficial)
Guest guest
Geri, That is another great side effect. Energy. I have way more energy when I take the C and E combo. Every now and again I go off it due to forgetfullness, and man I notice it really fast in my enery levels, then I start getting the pain and then I go back on. It's a nice reminder that it does make a difference.

Guest guest
Gretchen, Is there a reason behind your order of 2 multi ... banana ... Vitamin E? Sorry if this is a silly question, but it caught my attention.
Guest guest
Yes, there is, Auggie. The multi needs to be taken on an empty stomach, with water. The E, for the best effects, needs to be taken with food (or right after) so I eat a banana before I take it. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Gretchen, Okay, bear with me here .... When you take your multi on an empty stomach, don't you get an upset stomach/nausea? Also, do you eat the banana/Vitamin E immediately after taking the multi, or how long do you wait?
Guest guest
Yep, Auggie, I take the multi on an empty stomach and chase it with alot of water. Have never had a nausea problem, perhaps because the water fills up my stomach and helps the vitamins to transport. And yes, right after that, I eat the banana, and right after that I take my Vitamin E followed by the water. I do all this leisurely, not fast, or " chugging it " all, lol maybe this is about a 10 minute time period. ~ Gretchen
