Guest guest
Does anyone else ever experience dreaming and then you wake up in your mind from your dream but your body won't move and you can't move or wake yourself up to make your body move. Thought I was crazy then my dad who has CMT too said that he experienced that a couple of times a month too. Just thought I would see if anyone else out there experiences this also. Thanks, Winndy
Guest guest
I think this is pretty common. Some TV Show I saw addressed it a while ago. They talked about people having the opposite effect too. They are sleep walkers.
Guest guest
Yup, Hasn't happened for a while (over 10 years), but it was cool and sometimes scarey. Well wishes, Chris
Guest guest
Yes, I, too have had similar experiences for the past 30 years or so. They don't happen very often, thankfully, as I find them rather frightening. A sleep disorders physician has a specific name for this situation, but I am unable to recall it at this time. P. Guest guest
Yes. When I was younger my mother told me that this is an " in-between " stage, and she told me to try to use the moments to shape my own dreams. It meant I was able to have great dreams - taught myself to fly, etc. What fun! It doesn't really happen anymore, although my husband says I sometimes sit upright in the middle of the night and say really loudly " wake up this is a dream " ... Weird...
