Guest guest
Hi Nina and welcome to . You need to see a good Orthopedic surgeon........Your hammer toes and etc can be greatly helped with surgery. As for driving how about a hand control? I've been using mine since Sept 2002 and love it! I can manage the gas pedal but I use the control for braking. Again welcome. Barb

Guest guest
Welcome Nina. I had the same problems with driving and switched to hand controls. Basically they install it so your hand pushing down adjusts the gas and when you push back, it adjusts the brake. It does not change your car, so someone else can still use the pedals even with the hand controls installed. It cost under $2000 and can be transferred to other cars when you buy a new one. It did not take me long to adjust and allowed me the ability to maintain independence with driving. Jackie
