I have been on Provigil 200 mg. one or two tablets a day and it has helped me

also with giving a boost to my pain medication that I have been on for quite

sometime. This was discovered in a study done by a group of Neurologist and

M.D.'s. It is good for that I know.

Elinor,

So far CMT-wise, there has been that one research study only on

Provigil titled " Modafinil reduces fatigue in Charcot-Marie-Tooth

disease type 1A: a case series. " Am J Hosp Palliat Care. 2006 Oct-

Nov;23(5):412-6. I posted the abstract last Fall sometime.

Other research on Provigil has been for Narcolepsy, Acute chorea and

hyperthermia, general daytime sleepiness, nocturnal enuresis, MS,

myotonic dystrophy, Fibromyalgia, apathy, ADHD, and some odd 400 more

papers as indexed.
