Has anyone ever noticed a correlation between your lab value and

disease progress?

My neurologist has been very concerned over a " significant decline in

strength " over the past year - when I had some routine blood work my MD

called me back in and said I had the creatinine of a 6 year-old, which

is not good.

Now normally this value is an indicator of kidney function (I work in

dialysis so I was immediately concerned) but my kidney function is

great - the consensus is it's a marker of the muscle degeneration that

my neuro has been noticing -- my MD went back in the history and all

these values have been lower than normal but definitely declining and

now " I'm in the red " at 0.4

Just curious,
