Guest guest
Rena: Yes, Guillian-Barre Syndrome is rare. I don't know how it will effect CMT. But I have CMT 1 and my husband, , who doesn't have CMT has had Guillian-Barre Syndrome. He had two episodes of it when he was younger (around the same age as your son). The therapy is vital! My husband was temporally-paralized from the waist down the first time and recovered, then temp-paralized from the neck down the second time and recovered. He does have some side effects from it. If your son needs someone to talk to who has personal experience of it please feel free to either e-mail him directly: kcrock@... or call him Toll-Free here at the office during business hours 1-877-294-1717. Best Wishes on recovery, Crock
