Guest guest
I haven't done as much research on all the " water " things, however, now I am very curious. We have a distilled dispenser but the water has been oxygenated (meaning that oxygen has been added to it after the distillation process). Does anyone know if this changes the problem with it leaching out minerals? or if it is ok to drink? Also, what causes the distilled water to leach minerals out? does it act like a sponge? Guest guest
I don't think adding oxygen will change the leaching aspects of the water. My understanding why this leaching occurs is that most things in nature try to seek a balance or homeostasis. Water in nature has minerals in it. When you take the minerals out via distillation or RO, the water then trys to get back to balance by pulling minerals out of your body. This is the main reason I remineralize my RO water -- to try to keep it from replacing its minerals with minerals from my body. I don't think that putting minerals in the water is a good way to try to get minerals in your body (food and broths would be better for that) but that remineralizing the water may help prevent it from pulling more minerals out of your body). How was the oxygen added? Ozonation? If so, that brings up a whole other issue - redox. Natural water normally has a negative redox (more negative ions than positive). Ozonation makes water have a very positive redox and I'm not sure that is a good thing in the long run. For more info on redox and water, read " Reverse Aging " by Sang Wang. Another good book on water (which touches on even another whole different aspect of water is " On the Track of Water's Secret " by Hans Kronberger and Sigbert Lattacher. This book goes into the work of Victor Schauberger and Johann Grander regarding the memory and energetic aspects of water.
