Guest guest
Hi Jenn, My son is 14 and has hand weakness, he can't write much at all and uses a laptop, he can't tie his shoes, drops stuff all the time etc. He goes to Occupational Therapy here are some exercises they have for him: kneeding putty in his hand first rolling it out with both hands and then taking the long piece and making it into a ball using only one hand. Put 2 golf balls in your hand and move them in a circle - great for your fingers. For fine motor they put pegs in the putty and he has to get them out using one hand. Also try picking up pennies or using tweezers to pick up small objects. Hope this helps,
