That's quite true -- and I did say " most " , not " all " doctors. There definitely are good doctors out there. I'm sure you're one, and Dr. Byrnes is obviously another. But good doctors who know what's *really* involved in good health and good diet are awfully thin on the ground. I've bounced from doctor to doctor for years looking for help with my thyroid problem (and my mom and grandfather saw more doctors themselves in years previous) and the vast, vast majority refused to acknowledge that I needed anything other than a standard dose of synthroid -- if that. In fact, I've had to make virtually all my progress on my own, without the aid of any medical advice. So I do have a rather jaundiced view of the profession as a whole, but the industry itself isn't kind to doctors who don't religiously toe the line, either.
