Guest guest
In many/most cases, a disability rating percentage from the Departmentof Veterans Affairs is very generous, what with all benefits of doubtresolved in the favor of the veteran. A high disability rating doesnot necessarily mean you are not able to work and does not correlatewith any decision rendered by the SSA. There are some veryhigh-functioning veterans who have alarmingly high percentages. For example, someone real close to my heart - me, in fact - has a disturbingly high percentage assigned yet finally just stopped working full-time last fall. No, I don't want to tell you what the diagnostics codes and assigned percentages for my disabilities are.
Guest guest
sorry ...did not mean to offend you. I was not asking you for personal information or for diagnostic codes or assigned percentages for you. I was just wondering if they used a book with known diseases in it , and if they would grant disibility if you were diagnosed with the known disease. I was told that be a few members when I 1st had joined this group and they said it was pretty cut and dry. sorry once again.
Guest guest
No, what I trying to get to you, is that the grant of IU from the DV may not have much bearing on SSDI or even on capability for employment.
