Guest guest
I want to thank everybody who took time to respond to my post about how to tell people abut CMT. It has been a major struggle for me over the past few years. I learned a lot from all of you. The hardest part for me was not the lack of feeling, the falling or the fatigue. It was in how people looked at me, especially my family. Today, I had a conversation with my wife and she tried to tell me that the fatigue probably did not affect other CMTers to the extent that it affects me. I read her some of your posts, and for the first time in our marriage, I think she finaly understood just how hard it is to deal with this " condition. " I am the first in my family with the condition, and have nobody to compare notes with, or who can listen and fully understand. ly, it came as a shock to me that you all have such similar experiences. It is the first time that I have not felt alone in this. Thanks again. I so appreciate this group and all of you. Mike
