I've looked into the files regarding anesthesia and CMT and I'm

looking for more info. My son is having reconstructive surgery on his

foot/ankle next month and I'm hoping someone can give the name of any

specific anesthesia he should avoid. WHen he was younger and prior to

knowing about the CMT he had a small procedure done and reacted poorly

to a local anesthesia Versed. He totally freaked out, was flailing and

hitting the docs so they put him out. I was told by that doc to make

sure I mention this if he would ever need anesthesia again. Next

month will be the first time he has ever had any thing done which

requied him to be put under anesthiesa for a length of time. Any

information would be apprecated.

Thanks!
