We, too, have the tight stocking on foot thing but now mine feels more like a cinder block at times. I do not have all the symptoms you present - I do have the tingling and twitching at times but not all the time. I have a tendency to fall down a lot so Dr. prescribed 300 mg. Alpha Lipoic Acid daily and that helps. (Tripped over my own feet). I am going in for major surgery next week (colovesical fistulae) which is completely unrelated to CMT1B but have to discuss it with anesthesiologist because of nerve damage from some drugs.
