grain mill options

I'm probably not getting a grain mill anytime soon. Will a food

processor work in a pinch to grind grains for baking? I want to try NT's

sunflower seed brownies.

Not really(unless you have a vitamix), but I used my blender to grind the

sunflower seeds for that recipe. An electric grain mill wouldn't handle oily

seeds like sunflowers anyway. That recipe just really doesn't taste like

brownies either. Really close I guess for sunflower seeds but not quite

close enough for me:)

OOps! I replied to this with the word blender substituted for food

processor. A food processor definitely won't cut it for grinding grains.
