Guest guest
I'm probably not getting a grain mill anytime soon. Will a food processor work in a pinch to grind grains for baking? I want to try NT's sunflower seed brownies. ~ Carma ~ To be perpetually talking sense runs out the mind, as perpetually ploughing and taking crops runs out the land. Guest guest
Not really(unless you have a vitamix), but I used my blender to grind the sunflower seeds for that recipe. An electric grain mill wouldn't handle oily seeds like sunflowers anyway. That recipe just really doesn't taste like brownies either. Really close I guess for sunflower seeds but not quite close enough for me:) Marcella >From: " Carma Paden " <carmapaden@...> >Reply- > >Subject: grain mill options >Date: Mon, 11 Feb 2002 16:07:42 -0700 > >I'm probably not getting a grain mill anytime soon. Guest guest
OOps! I replied to this with the word blender substituted for food processor. A food processor definitely won't cut it for grinding grains.
