Guest guest
There is a reflex in humans that theoretically dictates bowel evacuation of the bowel contents should occur within 1 hour after eating. So theoretically you'd eat at 8 and then you'd eat at 11 and by 12 you'd eliminate your meal from 8. Have I ever met anyone who functioned this well. No way jose. However you should be having as many bowel movements per day as the number of significant meals you have per day. 3 meals = 3 bm's 5 meals = 5 bm's 2 is only acceptable because we live in a culture where people regularly don't go twice in a week. Just think about it, imagine if you were watching a train tunnel and you watched a train go in at high speed and then another and another and another and another and the first train didn't come out wouldn't you find that odd. Its the same with your food, if it goes in it had best come out. Skipping days is a sure sign of poor digestion as is 1 bm per day. Guest guest
So by me sometimes having missed a day here and there ( it only happens sometimes ) and sometimes having 1 poop instead of 2 means im not quite digesting properly.? Total I had 2 within about 2 hours of each other ( second just after i ate my third meal ) > many bowel movements per day as the number of significant meals you > have per day. 3 meals = 3 bm's 5 meals = 5 bm's 2 is only > acceptable because we live in a culture where people regularly don't > go twice in a week. Guest guest
Your overall digestive health cannot be assesed in a day. So if it happens one time, for certain you know that you are full of __it. You should not be, so unless you poop double the next day you're behind. If your honest with yourself you know if your digesting and processing your foods well and if you are great it can be hard to do in this day and age and you've done a good job. And if you are not you need to be honest enough with yourself to do the work necessary to fix it, and in most cases you'll need some help.
