As for becoming dependant on someone for everyday tasks, a person's own severity of CMT would determine that, since it is different for us all. There are some useful tools to help with tasks and make life easier. At one time I was re-diagnosed with MS, but once I had more tests, I was back to CMT. I hope you'll soon get a clear diagnosis.
