Guest guest
Well, O, all I can say is I've been meditating for almost 30 years and I don't have constant nerve pain at all, the intermittent feet burning is about it, but that's been with me since childhood. I started with a class in TM, then continued on my own and within the framework of a 12 step program, learned more, got into sitting still, being quiet, " listening " , journaling, and then added much also from my faith tradition also. Meditation is entirely individual; no I don't " chant " , but I do have repetitions/affirmations I use and periodically change. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
O, You might want to give Adelle a shot. She wrote about pain in " Let's eat right to keep fit " her recommendations are derived from research done in the 30's 40's and 50's, it's helped me. But my threshold of pain is pretty high. I had my foot and ankle fused a couple of months ago. It's just so cool to be able to walk again I'm probably experiencing enough pain to stop a horse but just don't care because walking is so cool now.
