Guest guest
Hello, I have type 1A CMT with all the standard bells and whistles including, discomfort/pain, falls and slow peripheral detioration. That said, living with the symptoms since childhood has helped me adapt quite well. I had a great career broadcast consulting until my early 50's when hard business travel became a problem. Since then my wife and I often sail and travel for pleasure. Neurontin has been a major help for the pain and a cane helps with the falling. What I need now is help in finding a custom shoemaker hopefully in Massachusetts. If required I would consider someone as far way as other parts of New England or New York. I have a shoe last. I had been working with Luizzi Shoes in Massachusetts for thirty years before they closed and Noonan shoes in Rhode Island for two year but constant price increases, billing disputes and a disapointing series of shoes has ended Noonan relationship. I would appreciate any suggestions. Jerry
