Amy,

What did they gave you? I find Neurontin and Ultracet works for pain none of

which are a narcotic. I have been prescribed a lot of narcotics without

question (scary). I was prescribed Percoset, Vicoden, Morpheine, Patches,

Hydromorphine, etc. and sure they

help a while but later you become immuned to them and they just don't work

anymore so I took myself off of them.

Oh heck, Amy, I'm so sorry this has happened. I can't offer

any 'experience' here, but can you apply ice packs to the parts of

your leg or foot that aren't casted/imobilized. Like 10 minutes on of

ice, 10 minutes off, and keep doing that. Other than that, I'd suggest

calling your doc about the pain - of course breastfeeding and strong

narcotics may not be a good idea.

I hope you'll heal quickly.

Hi Amy,

My Spencer had a broken leg. Just his luck it re-broke 7 months

later. It took time for it not to hurt.

I am sorry you have to go through this :( It can happen to any of us.
