Hi! I wear a knee sock under my brace and a short, light sock over my brace.

Helps hold the brace on and stops the squeaks. In the winter, I'll wear one of

those felted boot liners over my brace. Then I can wear my braces without

shoes/boots.

I have had the same problem and have found that moleskin on the bottom

of my AFOs cures the problem. It can be found at drug stores in the

foot care dept. It comes in strips and is self adhesive.

Try a 100% silicone spray that you can purchase at a hardware store

can wear my braces without shoes/boots.Isn't hard to walk that way.
