Guest guest
I bought a trampoline from Walmart earlier this year. I was lucky to find one on sale. It was a 13 ft. with the mesh enclosure on sale for $100.00. It wasn't an advertised special. You just have to keep your eyes open. You could also try checking craigslist.com for your area. Sometimes you can find used ones. The trampoline is great for sensory. If you want him to lose weight, walking and swimming are probably a better way to do that. Just a suggestion. > > Hello - > Everyone was helpful in recommending the larger (14 foot) trampoline > for my son. Guest guest
My sisters and friends all have the store bought ones (we do too but we've only had it a month). Some of them have had it for over 4 years and no one has had any problems with it. Be sure to hold on to your receipt. As far as safety, just be sure to purchase the enclosure, and you shouldn't have any problems. You may be able to find one at a hobby lobby type store. We have a store in town that sells sports stuff cheaper, but I can't think of the name of it. Its similar to a hobby lobby. Trampolines - Second Question Hello - Everyone was helpful in recommending the larger (14 foot) trampoline for my son. My next question is does anyone have any recommendations of what manufacturer makes a reasonably, high quality trampoline? I've been hearing alot about jumpking, but I see these run about $500.00. I was looking at one on the Walmart website that was $328.00 (I think it was a 13 foot), but I don't want to spend $300.00 and have it fall apart in a year. I've also been reading about how dangerous they can be....I'm so torn on whether or not to buy one. My son can not ride his bike or do other aerobic exercise, so I'm was considering a trampoline to try and help him lose some weight. Thanks,Debbie

Guest guest
With the netting around the trampoline it pretty safe. The one thing that I would do is try to secure the padding that covers the springs. We purchased those foam squares that snap together like a puzzle and put them under and around the outside of the trampolines just for extra measure. My son loved his trampoline and was on it everyday all day sometimes just laying there. The dogs even loved it.
