Guest guest
Have your tried Vaseline on your feet? It's inexpensive, and practical. Soak your feet before you go to bed at night. After soaking, don't dry them, and smother/rub the bottoms of your feet with Vaseline, then put an old pair of socks on to sleep in. By not drying your feet this helps retain the moisture from the foot soak. This is what a dermatologist recommended for my little boy when his eczema flares up. Soak him in the bath 20 mins., don't dry him, and smear him with Vaseline. It works. Maybe if you do this every night for a while it will help. Just a thought, Holly
Guest guest
Dear Holly: Thanks for the input about the vaseline, I think this just might help as it will give my feet back the moisture they have lost over time, I've tried all sorts of cream but nothing helped, thanks again! Guest guest
Roxanne, I have to be diligent with my feet or I have problems too. This included lathering them up with lotion at night and sleeping with socks on and using a pumice stone vigorously every day. Hope this is helpful. Guest guest
I think I've figured out what you call " slices " . Are these cracks on your feet? If so, please be careful, keep your feet super clean and on the cracks perhaps use some Neosporin - foot infections can be disaster (personal experience here) and stressful. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Hello Roxanne, Would getting a professional pedicure regularly until you get your " slices " taken care of hurt? Make sure they sanitize before and after " your pedicure " if you have open cracks for sure. This should be standard preactice anyhow but just to be sure ask. You know with a good pedicure you get up to the knee massage too. Mmmm yummmylicious some places offer a nice beverage in the package deal. Have fun and I hope you heal your " heels " soon. I get those every spring through summer because Ileave my shoes in the house when I garden and that is daily!! De
