Hi ,

My CMT daughter had a chronic cough that was not CMT related at all. She coughed

so much she had a dislocated a rib. We tried everything to get this cough to go

away. Finally Singular did the trick.

I took her to a neurologist just to make sure it was not CMT related. He told me

that if it was CMT related her upper body would show weakness. The what is

happening on the inside also happens on the outside theory.

My 3 yr old daughter with CMT has alot of excessive mucus and congestion. She is

on Zrytec which helps. Also she gets extremely car sick. Any one else with CMT

also have bad motion sickness?

Thanks !

Your poor daughter...a broken rib from coughing so hard...that must

have been so uncomfortable for her. I'm glad you found a medicine

that works. We haven't been successful with that so far.

had the bronchoscopy, endoscopy and ph impedence study done

this past Thursday. The pulmonologist said that he has alot of

extra tissue around his adenoids...but that he wants to wait for the

pathology reports to come back on the lung biopsies. The gastro guy

said everything look good in his esophogus, but that he also wanted

to wait for the reports on those biopsies. We should get the ph

study back Tuesday. I know this sounds stupid...but I really hope

they find something so we can start treating it.

Thanks for your info. We did Zyrtec too. No change in the cough.

does not suffer from motion sickness, in fact he is really into

roller coasters and such. He's done Mission Space at EPCOT several

times.

I don't have CMT and never had any problems with motion sickness, but as I am

getting older I have noticed more sensitivity to watching movies or TV where

they attempt to make you feel as though you are moving....It's a crummy feeling!
