You can buy a filter to attach to your shower to filter the chlorine out. Seems like these would be a good investment for us trying to kill bad bacteria not the good ones (since chlorine kills everything) and probably can be found inexpensively at Home Depot. Funny enough, even Sephora carries them (highly priced there), which attests to the benefits (very pretty hair! I did hear that your water needs to be low in iron for some reason. You might check on the oxygen therapy site for that info.
