Oh, yeah doh, I had forgotten that part from reading. Thanks. I was

just wondering if it was okay to do with kombucha being carbinated

thought. Trying to recall , thought had read not to? So am asking

again.

If the wine fridge meets your needs for KT storage, there's nothing wrong

with it. I do not lay my bottles on their sides, in general, because I

don't want the KT in contact with the plastic stopper (I use the Grolsch

bottles).

But there is no reason that KT bottles can't lie on their sides, apart from

a concern such as that one.

You might do better looking at small refrigerators such as are used in RVs

and tiny apartments though. Wine fridge's are much more expensive and

since you don't actually *need* the lying down shelves for KT, you might

find something that works better for a lot less cost.

LOL, but but I already have two refrigderators! overflowing with

condiments, cultures, vege's n fruits, miso, whey, kombucha,

sourdoughs,

viili.................................................................y

ou get the idea. I agree n understand about the bottles, I use the

same kind for my soy...for now trying the liter pop bottles after

explosion until get more of a schedule for my personal water and dairy

grain beverages.
