Yes, the custom inserts (orthotics like I wear in my shoes) will be

made to comform to her feet, and give her feet support. They won't

cause atrophy, but because her feet roll, the inserts would be made to

correct that, giving her a better gait in walking. The orthotics also

may help with the weakness in her leg depending on where that weakness

is coming from. Orthotic inserts may also help her balance, I know mine do :)

Make sure you get good shoes to go with the orthotic inserts. Your orthotist can

recommend shoes, or try the kid's line of New Balance.
