Guest guest
My 2 cents on health professional only distributed supplements.... My favorite brand is Trace Nutrients Inc. (TraceElements.com). They aren't whole food (thank goodness for me, because anything with oat flour or wheat germ or 10 other foods would do me in. Can't have any aspartates or citrates either as they are stimulating) and they are the gentlest I've heard of, allowing for some success when many other supplements have been symptom causing. ( I interact with about 1000 people with disabling cases of extreme sensitivity syndromes (CFS, FMS, MCS, and OI dysautonomias).) Just this month, 3 folks who had been put on standard process and gotten worse, saw a nutritionist that works in our area (DC/ No VA) who took them off the SP (from the chiropractor) and put them on the Trace Nutrients and they are actually improving. I am very happy for those who can take whole foods and SP stuff, but there is a whole population of us whose problems are the actual foods and we just need to be careful. Trace Nutrients has the basic magnesium, calcium, potassium, digestive enzymes, anti viral formula, anti-bacteria formula, and 2 kinds of multi's with glandulars - one for fast metobolizers (sym-pack) and one for slow (para-pack). They have more things as well and hair tests for dogs and horses to help with their health as well. Anyway, Trace Elements distributes through professionals who use their hair mineral analysis test (red flag for some, I guess, but I am ok with it) and direct once you've had a test (I have had over 20 hair tests and you can map the progression of my illnesses AND treatments. The best improvement came after adding the cod liver oil!). But, they also sell to at least 2 vitamin stores I know of in area where their docs/pros work. And the stores get wholesale and then can pass on any discount they might want. Often vitamin/health stores have some sort of nutrition person that can order from these companies. So my point is don't forget to ask your favorite health store to try ordering the products for you. Some will even then UPS to you once they get the stuff in and the discount they give can easily overcome the shipping fee. PS Since I mentioned horses already once in this post, the qgm massager I mentioned in my earlier post today actually is marketed heavily and studied more thoroughly for horses. The latest kentucky derby winner is a user! And now I've used up all my horse related knowledge.
