By increasing hydrostatic pressure, the AFO stabilizes patients' bony structures, including the subtalar, talocrural, talonavicular, and midtarsal joints. The reinforced copolymer shell with 1/8-inch Aliplast lining provides comfort and excellent fit. A plastic reinforcement window allows relief for a prominent or tender calcaneus and also serves well for post-Achilles tendon surgery repair. The G1000 is available in 5- inch and 9-inch heights, four color options, and a choice of closure. Turnaround time for ordering the G1000 is eight days.
