Guest guest
<snippets> > Yeah that is exactly what happened! .... It also caused several other bottles to go boom...glass shards everywhere....even a couple of rooms away and around corners we found sticky glass. This happened about midnight, as i was standing only a few feet away, however on the other side of a wall, so i was spared the schrapnel. Funny, the nano-second it happened, i knew what it was.....now Mine are the swingtop glass w/stopper snap on! ....get a bunch of those nice glass bottles w/ the stopper/metal snap doohickey like they used to use on carbonated drinks a hundred years ago.....those appearently won't (((((((('splode!!!!!!!!))))))))) > > blessings > mark > Yes, very thankful! and yes to the cops. > glad no-body was hurt....those cops sure are slack on security i'd say! >
Guest guest
I was just due to put them in the fridge like that day too! I don't have the screw on cap type, had considered it next time, after spent money on these. What did it sound like? I had asked my utililty repair man if he thought the basement was cool enough with the furnace down there? -Audrey <snippet> > Best thing to prevent explosions is to keep the bottles refrigerated. .... could hear it all over > the house, I knew what it was too, although I had forgotten it was there. > > Of course, the alternative to leave the cap loose would work fine too. >> Peace, Love and Harmony, > Bev > >
Guest guest
Hi V Well I believe the bottles were on the fifth day and due to be put in the fridge, but I had forgotten the night before to release the pressure. The room temp was between 65-70 or off with good weather that saturday. But I believe the juice water crystals kefir beverages started it, and the the kombucha ones sitting next to them. -Audrey > Can you please describe how long the bottles had been sitting before they > exploded, and about what temperature your room is? > > thank you. > > --V > > > ~~~ There is no way to peace; peace is the way ~~~~ > --A.J.
