Guest guest
A warm welcome, Tibor. Thanks so much for the introduction. Here's more info about Disulfiram (Antabuse), it also lists some side effects. Considering it IS on the list of medications toxic to CMT nerves, and may worsen your CMT 1A, please alert your doctor. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/medmaster/a682602.html A bit about me, I have a type of CMT 2, have had it my entire life. I also spent many years drinking alcohol. The Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous helped me get sober and stay sober. I did not take Antabuse or attend Rehab. I just white knuckled detox in my kitchen. More on this at http://www.mda.org/publications/Quest/q114subabuse.html you may also wish to consider this link http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/en_find_meeting.cfm there ARE meetings in Budapest. Again, welcome to our hopeful community. ~ Gretchen
