Guest guest Posted May 30, 2007 Report Share Posted May 30, 2007 I just was wondering...my old AFOs are plastic ...and so are my new ones...that I have not been able to wear for a year now! Is it possible that there is different kinds of plastic? I didn't sweat as bad in my old AFOs and I liked them so much more. My new ones seem heavier and more cumbersome.,even have a wide band of plastic across my shin with Velcro. I'm disgusted. Haven't had shoes on for over a year. I mean I sweat so bad, there is a puddle of water in the heal of my braces and you can hear my feet slosh. Then I break out real bad rash like prickly heat.HELP.Thanks.
