Guest guest
Repost Averill's email: susanaverill @ naturx.net. (Remove space.) I am not able to compare the testing/screening and treatments of Dr. K and Dr. C for you. I have been doing Dr. C's protocol (LED + herbs) since last July and had consulted with him directly, but I had only read online information about Dr. K's treatments for the past 2 years and recently attended his presentation at the LIA conference. I have not consulted with Dr. K or implemented his protocol yet. It is difficult for me to compare. I hope others who have done both can chim in. If a person has Lyme + Babesia + Bartonella combo, Babesia/Bartonella should be treated first or at the same time with Lyme. If I were you who wanted to treat multiple infections (maybe Lyme, maybe not) without testing upfront, yes, I would go ahead to use Allicin, HH, and Circ. P. Both Allicin and HH are anti-fungal, and Allicin also helps chelating metals. Both HH and Circ. P are helpful for treating Bartonella. Circ. P also helps enhancing blood circulation and reduces inflammation. With these three herbal products, at least I would get Bartonella covered. After I were on these for a month or two, either I saw improvement or not, I would still look into tests. I would do IGeneX panel 6050 for Lyme, and if I were you who live in Hong Kong, I would not do coinfector test with IGeneX, and instead I would test Bartonella and Babesia with Fry Labs. IGeneX tests for Babesia macroti, a strain of Babesia prevailing in the US but might not be relevant to people in Asia. Fry Labs blood smear test will look for physical evidence of Bartonella and Babesia in red blood cells. Hope this helps a little. Guest guest
For the cost of seeing Dr. Cowden, you can look up Dawnmarie's post. She posts under the name of " tastorfamily " . She just recently visited Dr. Cowden in Phoenix and gave a detailed, appreciated account for her experience. There have been several people posted how much they spent on LED treatments, including Rita and Kristie. Rita also summarized the costs of LED from coast to coast and posted at her WA group. I spent $1500 to consult with Dr. Cowden and got my son screened via Asyra. I did not do LED with his technician. I did LED locally for $150 per treatment. This is not cheap at all. By far, Dr. 's charge is most reasonable. You can check on this with Corinna, who just recently saw Dr. E. Usually if a person has both Bartonella and Babesia, if the same person treat Babesia without treating Bartonella at the same, Bartonella symptoms get worsen, but not the other way around. Since Dr. Zhang's standard protocol will at least get Bartonella covered, so it should be OK to go ahead and use the herbs as starting points. Be sure to introduce one at the time, and observe and manage any herxing reactions. If you've got a CBS kid or SUOX kid, I would start with Circ. P. If sulfur is not an issue, I would start with Allisin first to keep yeast at bay, before the attempt of killing Bartonella.
