Guest guest
According to everyone it really sounds like she is walking on it way too soon. Everything has taken a turn for the worst. Thursday night she felt like she was going to pass out so my brother in law took her to the emergency room. Her blood pressure had dropped extremely low. They put a stint in her to administer medication I guess and took some blood for testing. I guess she had an infection in her blood. They did surgery that night and it was bad. They said it was so infected the bone was somehow deteriorating. I don't know how that would happen. I think they tried to fix her up as much as they could while they had her open. She's in ICU right now because her blood pressure is still very low. She needs help from someone knowledgable with CMT. I'm grateful for all the advice. We're going to try to see her tomorrow since today she's not really ready for visitors. I keep telling my husband... " YOU can't let them cut into you. I never want my kids to have to have surgeries. " I'm just afraid right now. Amelia
Guest guest
HI Amelia, I don't blame you I would be afraid of surgery after everything you have seen your MIL go through. There must be an underlying condition that her doctors are unaware of.
