Guest guest
This is a completely strange study. It is widely known that after exercise metabolic rates increase. To say " drink some milk " and then measure fat loss is odd. Especially when the alternative is a sugar based energy drink with 600kcal - and milk has about 200kcal. I wonder who paid for the study. I think after exercise we need to drink water and eat a healthy well balanced well proportioned meal or snack. Personally I love having a good steak or grilled fish and vegetables after my workouts, and when I need a bit of a boost I add NUUN tablets (non calorie isotonic electrolyte supplements) to my water... The electrolyte balancing also fights my cramps that can happen after working out... Guest guest
Hi Donna, Your thoughts are interesting. Before I work out, I eat a high protein meal, like chopped chicken and cottage cheese. On my way home I usually drink a bottle of water (500 ml) Then at home I eat some fruit - like a tangerine, peach, or apple. About 1/2 hour later, I have a bowl of cereal with low fat milk. ~ Gretchen
