Feel free to post, to vent, to cry, or whatever else you need to do. There are a lot of parents on here of children of all ages, so I'm sure that if you have questions or concerns one of us should be able to point you in the right direction. I diagnosed him at three and have worked with him every day since. There are a lot of smart mothers on this list who should be very encouraging and helpful to you. It is a long journey with many unforeseen blessings, Pat K Hi All - My name is Pam. My family and I live in an Indianapolis suburb. We have two children - a 3.5YO boy and an 1YO DD. Many of DS's problems seem like symptoms of autism, including mild SPD. Although we can understand almost everything DS says, he has speech problems in that he will not say "yes" or "no" most of the time and he does a lot of parroting.
