Guest guest
My 4 year old son has CMT 1A and goes to Occupational and Physical Therapy each week. There seem to be endless exercises we could do at home to loosen up his hamstrings and build his strength. We do basically 2 things at home: At least once, often twice, per day I lay him down and push his feet back to stretch his legs. We also do " wheelbarrows " across the room every day to strengthen his arms. There are a bunch of other things we can do if he's open to doing the work. I'm curious what at home work others do with their CMT affected children. I'm trying to make this stuff fun, but he often complains the stretching hurts. Thx - Gail
