Hi Gigi,

Thanks for the post. It's hard sometimes to accept and to

understand. Everyone experiences different symptoms and severity,

even within the same family. I have one sister that is much more

severe than I am and another that doesn't really show any symptoms at

all. I have 3 daughters, so understand your concern for your son. If

he isn't showing any symptoms, I wouldn't worry too much. Just

encourage him to be as active as possible.

Thank you Tonya. It helps a whole lot knowing I'm not alone. I'm happy there

is a fourm like this where we can communicate with others who " get it " and can

share infromation with each other. Most people I come across have not even

heard of CMT, and I was one of them a few short months ago!

My son is 13, and is not showing symptoms at this time, so I'm not

going to worry him. I will let him know the family health history when

he's older. Anyway, I don't have enough info myself till I sit down

with the neurologist later this month.
