Guest guest
Hi Gigi, Thanks for the post. It's hard sometimes to accept and to understand. Everyone experiences different symptoms and severity, even within the same family. I have one sister that is much more severe than I am and another that doesn't really show any symptoms at all. I have 3 daughters, so understand your concern for your son. If he isn't showing any symptoms, I wouldn't worry too much. Just encourage him to be as active as possible. Take care & hope your recovery goes well. Tonya
Guest guest
Thank you Tonya. It helps a whole lot knowing I'm not alone. I'm happy there is a fourm like this where we can communicate with others who " get it " and can share infromation with each other. Most people I come across have not even heard of CMT, and I was one of them a few short months ago! My son is 13, and is not showing symptoms at this time, so I'm not going to worry him. I will let him know the family health history when he's older. Anyway, I don't have enough info myself till I sit down with the neurologist later this month. Again, thanks for the encouraging words! gigi
