Guest guest Posted July 13, 2007 Report Share Posted July 13, 2007 Hey everyone, Big question. I am a CAD drafter and my mouse is very important to the speed in which I do my job. The problem that I am facing is that all mice (mouses? meece?) now have the scroller in the middle. I constantly use both the right and left button and the scroller zooms in and out. For a normal person, this is very convienient. For me, annoying as hell. My fingers are " lazy " and I inadvertantly hit the scroller constantly, therefore zooming in and out when I don't want too. Before, this was no problem, I would get the cheap mouse with no scroller in the middle. However, the aforementioned two button, no scroller are becoming obsolete. I've talked to my IT guy about this and he has been trying to locate something. He's found a mouse with 3 buttons and we've tried to disconnect this key. This helps, but it is still annoying.
