Guest guest
Carma, The lines of commercially available supplements are pathetically poor. There are a few companies who provide an occasional decent product in their line however most are synthetic and or poor quality many times making deficiencies worse and causing more stress on the body. The only two supplement lines that I ever recommend are Standard Process and Doctors Research. Standard Process is only available through a health care provider. And of these two lines my experience has shown much better results with Standard Process, both with my own family and my patients. See my post #3227. Also see my post " prenatal vitamins " at www.westonaprice.org on their forum. It also discusses why I recommend SP over others. You can also read about them as www.standardprocess.com I realize sometimes I sound like I'm on the payroll at SP but I'm not I just respect their 70 years of history and Farmland that averages 8-10 feet of topsoil as opposed to 4-6 inches in the rest of north america. These supps are made from food sources not fake substances synthetically produced in a lab. If you can't get all your nutrition from food, your supplements better be made from food. I am familiar with most of what is sold in the stores (obviously not all) and there is nothing there that I would recommend. If you have any further questions Carma feel free to email me or re-post here. If you need a health care provider near you to obtain the SP product just let me know and I'll find one for you. In the sometime situation we can't find one near you, I can help you get them. Either way enjoy your inquiry.
