Guest guest Posted July 11, 2007 Report Share Posted July 11, 2007 In the Social Security Blue Book, CMT will fall under " Peripheral Neuropathy " . Also, although CMT is NOT a muscular dystrophy, it is recognized by the MDA and their neurologists are very familiar with it. My husband was diagnosed by an MDA doctor.
