Guest guest
Dawn, Refuse to let your soul be stolen. Your body might be betraying you, but your intelligence is untouched. So show you true self, so that they no longer " notice your atrophying muscles " But notice YOU in all your glory. This is what you believe they are seeing, because that is what you focus on in your own mind. Your own fear and your own flawed feelings dominating your mind. It is an illusion. No one can take away your knowledge and intellect. You underestimate yourself. How do you know " you will never have a man like that? " In your own words, " I'm so much more than that. " and " I feel that we as disabled people have to unite in our strengths. I think one of our greatest strengths is intelligence and also will. " I know you posted to Grecthen, but I wanted to respond with my own words of encouragement, because sometimes I become discouraged also, and know what it feels like. Feelings are transient. Thank goodness! Gigi gigi
Guest guest
Hi all, I'm not be posting as much because I have had to cancel my svc at home due to the fact that I have not enough money for service at home. So, I will be working on my emails here at the library. And there is not as much time on the computers. Gigi, I wanted to thank you for your response. I hope I do get a man lke that. I used to talk with my college professors. Very educated men and really enjoyed it and felt like they did too. Well, I'll write more later.
