Guest guest
, I also think that the heat is bad for CMT but the cold brings on it's own problems. I lived in Buffalo, NY most of my life and the cold made my feet rigid and really quite painful Also, would affect my throat and cause breathing problems. Now, this summer, I have moved to Greensboro, NC and this has been a record breaking summer for this city with very high heat. Yes, I feel my muscle tone is diminished here by the heat (AND THE HUMIDITY). I always thought a dry heat would be better for me like Arizona or California but my son's father says that I can not move out west because he demands to see his son once a week. Anyway, just three days ago it finally cooled down to the 70's and I'm starting to feel less like a limp doll again. I completely agree. Heat can do that to those of us with CMT. Thanks for your information. It makes me feel less crazy because I know doctors don't understand. Dawn
Guest guest
P.S. , How are You? Were you saying that your muscle tone is a bit better b/c of the cold? I think that would be true but just want to verify that I read that right? Thanks, Dawn
