Guest guest Posted September 17, 2007 Report Share Posted September 17, 2007 Hi all, Some of you may alraedy know about this but I found this in the magazine from MDA and have kept it under my hat till I can verify for myself that it DOES work. And, it does for me. I have CMT 1A. It's found on e-bay the product name is X-Strap. It wraps around your ankle and there are laces that attach to the holes already in your shoes and you set your foot against a wall to pull your foot back then you cross them and velcro them to the ankle strap and you're all set. I have not worn my braces since and it's been since April of this year. I saw them in the MDA magazine Quest and called the guy then and asked him how he came up with the idea. He personally knows people with ankle and feet problems and came up with the idea himself. Necessity is the best inventor. If anyone wants to email me re: this, I can forward you the emails I get from him re: his products. (Less expensive than braces too!).
