Guest guest
Rita, I am planning to take my son to see Dr. to do QN and other therapy as I have enough mileage to get free flight ticket for 2-3 trips. I am going to spent at least 3 days each time. The receptionist asked me if we want to do ART with Dr. as well. I don’t know if we should see Dr. Amy as well in this trips? Should we have Dr. Amy do ART or to do ART. How will be treatments/therapy from two different doctor be coordinate well? What is your suggestion? Thanks a lot Jean From: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism [mailto:BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism ] On Behalf Of childbalance Sent: Sunday, August 17, 2008 3:13 PM To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: [sPAM] Re: Question about recovery from ASD? Rohini, In the 2+ years we've seen Dr. Amy I've seen incredible advancements in ASD children, including personally seeing several non-verbal to verbal children. I found out about Dr. Amy in April of 2006 and started seeing her shortly thereafter. Although I follow DK I know only a couple of his patients. I find most of the parents are not active posters regarding their child (I know it takes a lot of time). We run into quite a few at Dr. Amy's the office so can say from personal observation that in 2 years I've seen/heard about directly from the parents reduced metal/pathogen load, overall better health, reduced seizers and non-verbal to verbal. I do not know of any that are completely recovered. Come a long way and close as in my son and Lorina's, but not completely. For me personally, give me another year or two and if the last 2 years are indicators of the next 2, I hope to be there. I've seen children that had hit a wall with very little improvement after 3+ years on the DAN! within a 1 or 2 reduce their pathogen load, metals, viral and bacterial resulting in a healther child. Again, I've only been following for 2 years...that's not long for children as sick as ours. I think like everything else, much depends on how much the parent puts into it. If they are doing GFCF with a bunch of junk food...that's still not a very good diet....therefore you will still not see big progress. For those that use the equipment to increase cellular restoration, I believe you will see a greater recovery quicker. For example, on all the big recovery boards, prior to the research that I've spent many hours doing, there was only one parent that posted about the Valkion, and then it was to ask who was using it. It's very difficult to gather this information, when so few put forth the effort to share it. All I have to go by is visually knowing...and then can't give you names as I do not have permission. Regarding Dr. , it depends on how long you are here. If it's just 2 days then she probably would not have the time to do much. If it's 2 weeks, she could probably help a lot. Again, the more you do with the different recommended equipment and treatments, the more you'll probably see. Many out of town clients start the LED and QN with her then continue with a practioner in your area. Dr. Amy could do phone consults advising an area ART trained practioner as well. She handles many out of town patients after the 1st visit using phone consults. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi - I know you were directing this question to Rita, I see both doctor's myself and most of the time Dr. E uses ART in her treatments - but she can also give you supplements via using ART. Personally, we use Dr Amy because she is more familiar with ASD kids, and knows the ins/outs. What is nice though, is Dr. Amy will say " when you see Dr. have her retest Zander on this supplement " because how fast our kids change during treatments via her/and Dr . I do also know, if you going in for a protocol LED treatment she will want to place your child on some supplements to support the detox. Again this is what's great about having both on your team. Example, We saw Dr. Amy one day and my son was testing for a supplement but his body just wasn't ready for it yet - she tells me, tomorrow when you come in to see Dr. have her retest it after her treatment on him, she does and says " Not today, but tomorrow he will be ready " . Its amazing how well they work together, and don't get " put out " over each other's suggestions - So, to answer your question I personally would see Dr. Amy because she can go over ALL your supplements and ones she has in her office, and give you a protocol for your child's body after seeing Dr. . Dr. can write done what she would like your child on, then Dr. Amy can retest with your other supplements to see how they react with each other. (does this make sense?) Hope this helps some - Lorina > > > > Hi folks, > > > > I am new to this board and contemplating to take my child to WA to > see > > Dr Amy Derkson.
