Guest guest
Abbie, That's a good point. We do have a sauna and we haven't been great this year about going in. Maybe we need to re-commit to doing that so we can "stay ahead of the game" so to speak. The glutathione levels haven't been checked in awhile. I am doing OSR but haven't put on that yet because of the sulphur issue which he needs to clear first. Talking to our doctor, this is a widespread problem with lots of patients...recovery is SO fragile, relapse is easy to do. Purchase online at: www.liafoundation.org Do you think it could be an issue of high enough glutathione levels? Or a strong enough liver in other ways? I'm thinking if you could get your body - whichever part(s) are having a tough time on the job - to process the pollutants OUT fast and well the way so-called healthy people's bodies do, you could get though the exposure without trouble. I wonder if this isn't the big issue many doctors will grapple with as more patients get close to full recovery. Abbie Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges? Guest guest
Hi Tammi, If you son still has sulfur issues AND multiple chemical sensitivities, I really recommend you take the time to read the " Sulfur and PST " paper in the Enzymes and Autism yahoo groups files section: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EnzymesandAutism/files/Related%20Topics%20a\ nd%20Supplements/ I have no idea who compiled all the information, but it was REALLY useful for me a year ago. I'm about to revisit it to hunt down the solution to my sons chemical sensitivity. One of the last residual medical issues. It was less noticeable before when he was on the full PST " protocol " so I might need to get him back on the low phenol, low sulfur diet and add back in some supplements I had dropped after he improved. If you are not a member of that group, let me know and I can send the paper to you directly. Not sure if I should post the whole thing here because A. it's 15 pages long! and B. I don't have permission from the author. I could dig up he research notes I wrote while reading the paper. It's around somewhere. It's just a simple good/bad list. > > Abbie, > > That's a good point.
