Guest guest
Thank you for your note, Gretchen. I will look for a listing for the doc you recommended. Aah, Fernwood to Santa Barbara, you must lead a charmed life. 2 of my favorite places. I like to hike the trails around here (when it's not 110 degrees!!) but am more worried about my ankle stability each time I try it. I have been very tentative since blowing out a tendon while making my approach in bowling. Just walking straight on level ground . I thought someone hit me with their bowling ball. When I turned to see who hit me the ankle exploded and I just about blacked out and found myself on the floor crying. My poor husband. One minute she's starting her turn, the next she's on the floor sobbing and can't walk. Maybe with some sturdy hightops I'll have some more confidence. As you know, in Topanga there are no sidewalks (though we just got a light between the market and Abuelita's) and everything is on a serious slant, I always feel in danger of injury if I'm not really careful. I imagine I will want to check out your orthotic miracle worker! Thanks so much for responding. Do you (or anyone else) have an opinion on waxing and waning symptoms? Is that common? I'm trying to decide when symptoms feel at their worse, I think usually after physical stress (workouts, gardening, heavy lifting) and probably when feeling emotionally stressed, especially so with the face pain/burning and dry eye.
